My view of Space

Obviously an incredibly accurate representation of the solar system. Especially the Gas Giant.

I've had this written in my sketchbook for ages and wanted to do some kind of poster design with it. Well, I've spent all day faffing around and although I'm not 100% positive it's complete but I came up with a couple of ideas. So frustrating when you can see something in your head...! Ugh. I'm off to do something else for a while!

(I thought these close ups made quite nice images on their own, possibly more so than the original!!)

A Misty Morning

This morning I thought a walk through the misty woods would inspire me for the day. It was rather spooky and the only sounds I could hear were the birds, a noisy woodpecker and the odd drop of water from the tall trees. (I'm sure others could hear my curses as I watched helplessly as my dog rolled in horse manure, joy).

Latest Enhancements

We installed the puffin ward vinyls on Friday at Derby hospital, we were really pleased with how they looked. You can see the rest of the pics here. I think the reading room ones were my favourite, but then I do love books!

Tea for two

My first go at ceramic painting, these mugs were a gift for a friend's birthday (complete with two teabags and some shortbread!). I really like the words and might do a print based around them in the future: "May your days be filled with sunshine, and your nights with stardust"
